I manage the operations of a 28 employees business. I am in front of my computer more than 12 hours per day. I have thousands of ideas in my mind at the same time and hundreds of current tasks in my current tasks list. I have three important business departements under my direct control and get multiple questions per day from multiple employees. Above all that, I probably receive more than 200 legitimate emails per day that I need to read and reply (I really do not like leaving a message without a reply).

I searched A LOT before finding this Task Manager ! Now that I found it, I can’t live without it. It is great. From VIP Team’s web site : To Do List is a professional time and task management software for Team Leaders to create, manage and send to do lists to team members. And it does what is says perfectly. It is interesting not only for Team Leaders but for everyone who needs to manage Taks and To Do Lists.

VIP Team To Do List enables you to filter your view and categorize your To Do List by resources, categories or dates and it lets you send the Task List of a specific resource by email. I use it to categorize the tasks of each of the resources I manage and then generate a report that I send to myself by email with the tasks details for this person. Each two weeks when I meet my employees, I print the task list and bring it at the meeting and we discuss his specific tasks. Then I forward the task list to his email address for him to concentrate on those tasks for the next 2 weeks.

I use this little Notes Organizer and Notepad Replacement since more than 5 years ! Never found anything better for my needs and never needed to search something better anyway. I love the always on top Tab option (see it on the screenshot) and I think it’s what sets this little piece of software apart, the auto-save functions and how simple it is. Above all IT IS FREE ! I gave it 4 stars only because there are a lot of alternatives to this software and that it is simple, but it’s one of the best softwares I run on my computer !
